The need to replace a more than 100-year-old deteriorating facility was the main drive for the construction of the new Greene County, NY Jail.  The 90,000 square foot jail included various housing pods, sizes, and configurations to accommodate their needs.  PennStress manufactured (36) Precast Double Cell Modules along with precast plenums and wall panels.  Each cell was fit out with the appropriate finishes and integral utility chase expediting the onsite construction schedule.
